Dunk of the year? / tip

Huge play!

February is coming and unfortunatelly i will be one year older (23). More responsability. I am saying this because my tip today is about responsability/discipline. How strong are your decisions? For example when you say, "today im not going to eat bad food" do you respect your decision or just get bored after some minutes and start to eat bad food again? A good way to start to get some discipline is to practise the power of your decisions and dont let any bad thought make your decision more weak. After some time you will get a huge control of your behaviour.

Trading tips

Hello guys, good day today so far, and today i would like to motivate you to try new sports. One of the best things that i can recommend you is to try all the markets and see what works for you. I just traded tennis on the first year and it was a very bad decision. The moment i tried new markets i had a lot of good ideas. Try everything!
The other tip is about choosing the match that is more predictable to you. I was talking to one trader the other day and he was asking me why i was not going to trade a tennis match at some moment and i said, i will not trade because there is a very predictable nba match with decent liquidity, so more predictable = better, at least for my trading style. Whats your opinion? Comments are welcome ;P

Horses results today, nba and tennis coming later. Good trades

Reading a match: Example of intuition on tennis with short term unlucky/ Guidance packages

Match:
Barthel vs Kerber

There was a possible injury for kerber so her start price was 1.86. I dont like to put money on players with " possible injuries", so i was just looking at opportunities to enter in Barthel. Barthel started very well and made the break and continued to play very well and i got a price around 1.8 in her. She was dominating and kerber was not very interested and very slow. GSlam coming ;P ?  Conclusion : Barthel won 6.0 the first set and her price was at 1.16. I was near 55 % and was not going to risk it for 16 ticks with no value. When there is a 6.0 there is always the chance of retirement but kerber did not retire and she started the second set very well and solid, so i backed her with my 54 %. Kerber broke and held and i got out for near 100 %.
Kerber was holding but it was easy to notice that barthel was not very consistent at that moment but if she get the previous level she would break back probably. Intuition working. Barthel, with a break behind holds the game very well and looks like she found some consistency again. I backed her here and got out at 40.15 and she recovered to deuce and broke!! Unlucky!! I would be in +150% green but ended with 75 %.
Conclusion: i risked 20-25 % risking the profit in good opportunities with the probability in my side in my opinion.

Tips:
In a dangerous match like this with a possible injury trade from second set with profits only and avoid third set.
Avoid entering in an "injured" player and look for ops on the other player.

The traders that emailed me for guidance packages and i said that we can start in the middle of this month, can start emailing me again if you are interested to start planning your journey. I will just guide three students max because it requires a lot of effort.

Tennis trading session (case study) / Trading tip / Students

Hello traders, Yesterday i was trading Ebden vs Baghdatis. Baghadatis looked very fat and and ebden looked very consistent on the first games. We all said that Bag price was very low @ +-1.44 (cant remeber the price) but because we are in the beginning of the season, its better to wait some games to see players' performance. Wait for a good entry. Ebden broke and he had one game left to complete the set.  We are all +- with 30% and i decided to stay and the students asked me why i would do that? Why to risk 30 % thinking in the second set? Well, in my opinion it was a good trading opportunity to stay for the second set and see player's performance because like i said Bag looked out of form and fat and Ebden was with great stats. I told my students to leave the match because they look for more consistent profits since they are learning and i was a bit more agressive. Conclusion: Ebden let Bag have 3 bps on the last game with 100% and 75 % stats and then Ebden saved them all and hold for the set. I got out at break point for a very small red. Conclusion: Frustration ? No, in the long term i will be in profit because i was looking for a profit of +100% and in my opinion the probability was on my side considering the indicators. It's not a question of greed, it's just watching very good opportunities considering the indicators. Bag went to win the match but had to work a lot and it was not easy.
So some things you can try to develop:

- Follow your intuition but only when you have very good chances, not simple chances. Dont follow it many times while learning. Be careful risking money in this trading style, because you can get frustrated losing money, if so you have to work on that and take more consistent profits and risk less.
- Be agressive with greens and play safe with reds.
- Check stats.
- Dont get frustrated with short term unlucky.
- Leave unpredictable matches.

Trading tip

If you already have a very good day, trade with lower stakes. You will be tired in the end of the day and your focus will not be the same so its better to lower stakes if you already have a great day and you if dont feel 100 % but want to continue trading (trading after work for example).

Service testimonials from students

I asked to students for testimonial, that would help me to improve in some areas and Craig sent me this one some moments ago:

Thanks for the review Craig and Paul
r9

"I took the lite package or Richard's coaching service, I didn't want to take the full package as I wanted to get a grasp of what was on offer first of all, Richard was more then accomodating, and I could always pay the extra afterwards to upgrade to the full package, or for
extra tuition.

First of all, Richard is a really nice guy, I was never pressured into doing anything I didn't want to do, and was more then accomodating with his service.

First things first - What I really liked about the service was that, there is a wealth of information and well written and layed out PDF files for the course/student material, as well as just small posts that Richard has written to help you improve on his students blog. Nothing is overly massive, which means, it's not difficult to take in the information! This makes digesting the information he has written very very easy. Richard has several 'strategies' that he provides to you to use, he is straight up front about what he offers, these are not your normal ABC strategies to make you money without no effort, they require your own anaylsis of a match at times, but Richard teaches about this, and he also encourages you to make your OWN trades and go on your own opinion - He however, will give you the tools to do all this, and explain how to go about doing so.

One of the key aspects Richard will Re-Iterate constantly throughout his material is money management. He also has a well written article in regards too it and managing your bank! I personally skipped some things
and did not use all the information that was provided which was my own undoing. After re-reading all of the material properly (no shortcutting! :) )
I learnt so so much, Richard makes damn sure you realise risk management, and managing your bank is KEY to unlocking trading in general and profiting long-term,
not just for tennis. If I had read the information properly in the first place, I'd of progressed 5x quicker then I have done, and saved a lot of money from losses.
That just went to show me how important it is, and Richard hammers this home repeatedly. I also like the fact he has made a set of rules to follow
as you start out trading tennis. I cannot stress enough how KEY these are..again I didn't pay too much attention to them when I first started
but after re-reading the material and continuing to trade, they are a complete MUST, no excuses, and Richard has the perfect set of rules
to make sure you keep your losses small, and build up your bank when you make your profits. There not just a set of rules, there absolutely fundamental
and Richard make's sure you know this, from his experience and experiencing them on my own, I can tell you, Richard knows what he's on about when he did these.
He also has a few other things to help with position and staking mangement, a nice little printout that you can tick and mark your progress with each stake on.
Any exercises or information Richard gives on this matter is for a reason, and it's really good to see he uses all his past experience to great use.

Richard will spend a few sessions with you (depending on the package you take), going over some theory, and asking if you have any questions
you want to ask him, or any particular topics, I only wish now I took full advatange of this. Along with this, you will also do a few live
trading sessions with him, I personally did 2-3 live matches with him ATLEAST - and one session was atleast 2 hours, talking over skype, and Richard gave his thoughts on the match
as well as explaining his entry points..not just saying 'enter at 0-15' for example, but a sound reasoning of WHY. Richard was also keen
to mention, that if you are not comfortable following his entrys or exits, do what you are comfortable with, he really put's it on you
to become your own trader and to make your OWN decisions and derive your own style, which was a key aspect for me. What Richard will do is get you thinking, and understanding
match flow, and will able to give you several idea's of when is a good time to enter matches (entry points). He is also extremely good (really good!)
at seeing momentum in a game, this has proved for me to be one of the biggest area's of my improvement and I'm starting to really excel here thanks
to Richard. He explains and poitns out in matches where and when the momentum is changing, and most importantly HOW to spot this.

I don't really have anything I didn't like about the service, but a few area's I'd like to see some improvement on.

- Videos, maybe a video or two explaining one or two of the more complicated aspects of the course, I have already given feedback to richard
on a video i'd like to see be made.
- A more in-depth topic involving reducing/limiting damage/losses, and some possible idea's/examples that can get the student thinking/potentially
using on a way to advancing them to becoming a successful trader (or more profitable one :) ).

I think the most special thing I learnt that was key for me was, Risk mangement - money management - bank management. And the ability
to spot momentum in a game, I should also note that Richard make's use of and explains the use of statistics in a match, using the ATP/WTA scoreboard.
Extremely useful for making decisions, and key to some of his strategies.

One more thing is, Richard gives you all the tools to get the job done. He doesn't just give you a list of strategies and say to do this and that,
he get's you thinking, and gives you examples, and it is from this that allows you to evolve into a better trader, and gives you the
confidence to tackle the markets and games yourself. Not only this, but you will start to be able to pick your own entry points into games,
and you'll start to be able to use different strategies for different situations.

Oh, and just to add, the course is the best value for money coaching I've EVER had. I've seen some trading coaching before and the prices
were very high, and I've had poker coaching where just an hour can cost around $80-100 for fairly decent level. The fact the Richard offers
so much - Information AND time - for so little is truely astounding, I doubt you will get a better time for $ coaching ANYWHERE else for tennis trading. Tennis is one of
Richard's passions, and that shows threw his material and his ability to teach in regards to trading it.

Bottom line is, I can't recommend coaching enough. And I can't recommend Richard's coaching enough!!

If your a beginner to tennis trading (have some experience atleast), break-even/slightly losing money/want to increase your profitability, Richard's coaching is the way to go.

What did you like about the service?
What you did not like about the service?
Is there anything special you learned?
How do you rate my effort teaching from 1 to 10, being 1 not caring and 10 huge effort?

I liked the service because I felt it was very tailored towards my needs and focused on specific areas which I wanted to improve. I felt Rich was a very good teacher and
very patient, he also went beyond what was stated in the package which I felt was very generous and shows how dedicated he was.

One area which i wanted to improve was cutting my losses, and recovering from bad positions and I feel I have made substantial improvements in these areas. I also learned to respect my bank and manage my risk more effectively. I would rate the service a 9/10, Richard always answered my questions and was fully supportive even in times where confidence was low. Its difficult to point a weakness but I would have liked to have seen Richard trade live through his screen, just so I can see his movements in the market more effectively. Its one thing hearing but seeing Richard trading live would have been better. Also please fix your microphone! :)

Reviewing trading/ Mental Strategy/ Free time section / Readers blogs

Hello guys,
I have been doing a lot pre horse racing trading and im loving it. Its like a big puzzle that you have to solve. And its very important to have other markets to trade apart from tennis. The picture that i posted is about reviewing your trading. I was reviewing today's trading and thought that could be a good picture to post to say that its very important to review your trading especially for pre live markets in which you have to be able to read the movements. For anyone interested in starting trading horses i would recommend to use training mode because you will probably lose in the long term.
The software is camtasia.

Mental strategy

No expectations- I was talking with one blog student about this subject yesterday. Its important to go trading markets without expectations. Why? you will get emotional. I really try to avoid saying and wanting things like " i want to make 1k today". Because if one does it and doesnt accomplish it, becomes disappointed and/or starts gambling. Practise it. Say and feel something like this: "Today im going to give my best and i will accept the market's result"
